Canada

Canada Pension Plan Investments (CPPIB) is a global investment management organisation established to help ensure the Canada Pension Plan (CPP) is strong and sustainable for the long term. The CPP Investment Board was established by an Act of Parliament in December 1997. CPP invest around the world in public and private assets. Investments are diversified by asset class and geography so that the fund is more resilient, and to safeguard the best interests of current and future CPP beneficiaries. At the end of March 2022 the fund’s assets were C$539 billion.
