The Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTTP) is the largest single-profession pension plan in Canada. An independent organization, it invests the pension fund’s C$241 billion in assets and administers the pensions of 329,000 active and retired teachers in Ontario. Since their establishment as an independent organization in 1990, OTTP has built an international reputation for innovation and leadership in investment management and member services.

Its asset allocation is 14 per cent bonds,  5 per cent real rate products, 11 per cent commodities, 5 per cent inflation hedge, 4 per cent natural resources, 11 per cent real estate, 11 per cent infrastructure, 3 per cent innovation, 10 per cent credit, 6 per cent absolute return strategies.
